When the company is formed the Chamber of Commerce issues a Kbis (Certificate of incorporation). We then send the Kbis to the bank, who will open the business bank account and release the share capital into it.

  • A minimum of one shareholder is required for your company with no restriction placed on nationality or residence. A shareholder may be a corporation or an individual.
  • As of August 2017 all companies incorporated in France are required to disclose the details of the Ultimate Beneficial Owner  (those who have more than 20% of the control of the company)
  • All documents filed on companies incorporated in France are public record.

VAT/TVA Registration:

We can assist with Registration with the Tax Authorities. Upon receipt of the Certificate of Incorporation the bank account is activated liaising with Tax office to activate the VAT number.

Ready Made Companies:

The concept of a ready-made company does not exist in France. This is because as soon as a new company is registered, a VAT number is issued and tax returns are due even if the company is not trading, meaning the company has liabilities to file tax forms from the moment pf incorporation.
